SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services for the community.

SASSA might be rendering companies for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency mentioned it's alarmed about the high range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a high number sassa status check of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA sassa status services.

“This really is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area each day. The support issue established for intervention experiences a substantial influx of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it complicated with the Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more assets to enable the servicing of all clients and increase usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
